Since my sick-leave percentage was increased to 40 %, my working hours will have to change. This week, I’m working 8-12:30, but there’s no guarantee that this will continue. I’ll probably have to vary my hours a bit, so that everything fits together at the support department.

Well, it’s here. The last weekend of my vacation. Where did those four weeks go? They never last long enough. I could do with permanent vacation. Then I could plan larger projects. At least I got some things done this time. I’m on time with my preparations for the market (12-14/8), our daughter got her own room etc.
Unfortunately, I had to cancel tomorrow’s guldgubbe walk, because everyone who was coming had a reason not to. I’m not complaining. They were all valid reasons. We were walking to the church to bury a guldgubbe by the church (outside the grounds of course). This is a tradition started by Irminsul, where they bury a guldgubbe on sacred places taken over by the church, and since the church is located at a place called Hov, I thought I’d do it here as well. Never mind, I’ll just find another date, that suits us all better.

I was at home today, because I had a doctor’s appointment. I thought I’d get a few other things done as well, but it turned out to be less than I thought. I managed to alter one t-shirt and make a short video for YouTube. Just to show that I’m still alive.
I got an email saying the Viking dresses are finished, and in the mail. That’s very good news. But I doubt I’ll have time to have someone make ribbons for the surcote, get them to me and for me to sew them on. So I might have to go without this time. The reason I’ve waited for the dresses, is that I don’t know how long the ribbons need to be. A friend of mine has offered to make them, so I’ll contact her as soon as I know.
As for the doctor’s appointment, I’m still on 20 % sick leave until mid August. I might have to increase to 30 % when the semester starts. It’s the busiest time of the year. I also got him to apply for dispensation for my meds, regarding a moped driver’s license. Since I turned 20 before 2005, I’m eligible to get it without taking a test.

I thought I’d give you an update on the result of my doctor’s appointment. I saw a temp, not my regular doctor, but she was good as well. She asked me a number of things, like how much I feel I’m able to work, and why I feel I have to work less. I’d brought a letter which explained the whole thing, and she read it. So I didn’t have to reiterate my whole health history to her.

Well, we’ve had the meeting now. The individual got a few minor corrections, but nothing serious. It was said that if two people have a conflict, they’re both are to blame and equally so. This I don’t agree with. I did however stay calm and collected, which this individual did not. So I feel I gained a small victory in that sense.
All the responsibility for the installation and maintenance was transferred to this individual and another, so we’ll just have to wait and see if things get done (within a reasonable amount of time, and done right). I doubt it.
