The feast was made up of these dishes:
- A casserole made from rice, minced meat and sausages
- A salad with ham and cheese
- A salad with eggs
- A salad with no animal products
After dinner we had these desserts:
- Sponge cake
- Ice cream cake with Daim
- The World’s best, or as it’s also called Kvæfjordkake
- 1 bowl of mousse au chocolat made by Sibylle (absolutely delicious by the way)
These drinks were available:
- 22 liters of home made apple wine from our own apples
- 5 liters of home made cider from our own apples
- 2 liters of home made mead
- 8 liters of red wine (J. P. Chenet)
- 8 liters of white wine (Dr. Loosen Riesling)
- 2 bottles of whiskey (Famous Grouse, Inverness Cream, Dun Bheagan)
- 1 bottle of brandy (Brandy Special)
- 2 bottle of cognac (VS Sontelle Cognac, XO Gautier Cognac)
- 5 bottles of vodka (Kalinka)
- 2 bottles of 60% alcohol
- 5 bottles of red wine (Württembrerg, Coto Hayas, Quinta de bons-ventos, Valcorso tinto, Undurraga)
- 1 bottle of rum (Bacardi, Sibylle used 1 1?2 tbsp to make mousse au chocolat earlier in the day)
- 1 large bottle of Jägermeister (brought by Inger and Preben)
- 12 cases of beer (Seidel, Tuborg)
- 24 1.5 liter bottles of soda
- 10 liters of sugar free syrup (orange and raspberry, 5 liters of each)
In addition to this we had burgers, sausages, candy, potato chips and dip, but we never got around to those. We had made food for about 30 people and we were only 13, so no one was very hungry after dinner and cake. And by the way, most of the bottles were still full when I created this page.
