Rök Rune 13This bears no resemblance at all to . It’s more like the reverse of Áss. So my has been written to reflect that.

In stead of communication, I picked , listening for this one. It’s an important thing to remember to do in many situations, and I feel this isn’t properly represented in the . It also solves my problem of being behind on my second H post for The . more »

Since it no longer looks the same, I’ve had to adapt the interpretation. I’ve chosen to include a little bit of Laugr, since they resemble eachother.

Rök Runes – 11 – Creative Chaos

The 'S' rune from the Rök StoneThe ‘S’ rune on the Rök Stone no longer looks anything like Sól. It still has the sound value, so I had to let it keep some of the aspects. It has some of Ís in it as well, so I brought into the mix.

While fire stands for light, , and passion. Ice stands for stagnation, inhibitions, and a lack of feelings.

But when these two powerful forces collide, things happen. Just look at where the meets the ice or the ocean. Islands have been created this way.

This could mean passion, , creativity, sudden , dramatic , creation. But it could also mean chaos, cataclysmic events or destruction.

As a interpretation, I would suggest for you to look at if someone is quenching your fire, your passion, your creativity. Is someone causing you to , to freeze?

Rök Runes – 8 – Nauðr

Nauðr of the Rök RunesAs this very similar to the one in the Elder Futhark, I’ve let it keep most of my original interpretation. It does however have a different crossbar, and I thought long and hard about what to do about that, in regards to my interpretation. I’ve decided to remove part of the original interpretation, add a little bit to the new one. To emulate removing the crossbar and adding a shorter one at a slightly different angle.

Rök Runes – 7 – Hagl

HaglIf you look at the shape of this , it could be interpreted as a falling snow ball, a falling rock, or something similar. Since the shape quite different from the shape it has in the Elder , I’ve chosen to completely rewrite the interpretation. Some aspects are still the same though.

I still see Hagl as , because of the name, if nothing else. The storm, the snow storm, the thunder storm, the flood, the landslide, the avalanche. A rapidly moving , a period of turbulence which leads to major , good or bad. Some might describe it as a , but I wouldn’t call it evil, just turbulent, violent, sudden and drastic. more »
